Origin
Native to the rugged, rocky mountains of Northern Africa. Aoudad, also known as Barbary Sheep were introduced to Texas in the 1950’s as a means of exotic game.
Description
Large muscular goat like body that has a reddish brown upper body with a white tan underbelly. Large males will have a long wire like beard and chaps that runs from below their chin down their front hooves. Both males and females have horns.
