DFW Airport is the closest major airport. There is also Jacksboro airport and Mineral Wells airport.

What if members of my group are inexperienced hunters?

Lost Creek Ranch accepts novice hunters of all ages and skills. So if it’s your first time hunting, we would be more than happy to help you create that unforgettable moment of harvesting your first animal.

Do you allow archery hunting?

Lost Creek Ranch offers both rifle and archery hunting.

What is the minimum age for hunters?

There is no minimum age for hunters.

What is your cancellation policy?

Must put a down deposit at the time of booking. If you choose to cancel up to exactly 30 days before your scheduled trip, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel within those 30 days, you will not receive your deposit back.

Do you have meals available?

Not at this time. However we are planning to add this service in the near future.

Will I save money to book directly with the ranch?

Yes, the rates are lower than when you book with the ranch versus VRBO & Airbnb.

What is the check in & check out times?

Check in is after 3pm & check out is before noon.

Do you offer military discounts?

Yes, we honor our military and first responders with a 15% hero discount when they book directly with the ranch!

Will google maps get me to the ranch?

Google maps tend to bring guests to a neighboring ranch. Waze & Apple-maps usually take you to the correct address. Two roads access the ranch from TX-199/Jacksboro Hwy. -Oilfield Rd/Dutton Rd: Shorter dirt road with narrow creek bridge (avoid with wide/heavy loads). -Slusher Rd: Longer dirt road with easier access.
